What do you use to dry your car?

i flood the xterra, then use ww drying towels. you would not believe by flooding the vehicle (provided you have a good lsp on) how much water it removes.....

OK so wash/soap. Use pressure washer to rinse. Then Sheet.

I thought I was moving pretty fast and I try to keep everything wet at all times but the back window dried and had lots of streaking.

Just keep it wet. :D

Using the D156 to dry will fix any kind of streaking ect that might happen if something dries too fast.

Yeah, almost all of it. :xyxthumbs:

Is this that d156 product? Meguiars Synthetic X-press Spray Wax, X-press car wax, Meguiars X-press spray liquid wax, D156

And can you only get this online?

So after you flood the water, its still going to be a little wet. You just spray this stuff onto the car with a WW towel even though its a little wet?

I just use MF towels with it and it works great, no need to get all fancy.

Yes, you can only get D156 online, comes in Gallon size.

Or you could just buy Megs UQW and pay $10 for a small size....

After you are all done going over it all, go back with a dry MF towel and just wipe it all down, it will be like glass when you are done.

Oh ok I already purchased the UQW from Walmart.

OK.....

This is the truck yesterday in the rain, 2 days of rain and over 3"......

This is this morning after sheeting the water off the truck and using D156 to dry. You can see the ground is wet from the hose.

I got a good deal on the cyber sales on Friday.

Sonus Der Wunder Microfiber Drying Towels 2 Pack- From $28.99 to $21 shipped.

Master blaster the less you touch the paint the better and if any thing is left over a very nice MF towel.

This is what I do basically;

Sheeting method rinse
Metro blaster air dry
WW MF towel pat dry

Leaf blower and waffle weave drying towel.

I blow as much water off the vehicle with the blower and BLOT BLOT BLOT BLOT any residual H2O with the waffle weave. This combo allows for a minimal amount of contact with the paint, while the blotting negates the possibility of inducing any swirls.
