i just put a new bugshield/deflector on the front of my truck and would like to know a good way to maintain it so it doesnt dull or fade. I am not sure whether or not to just use a quick detailer, plastic polish, or just wax it

any ideas??

just curious, what brand?

BTW, yeah...whatever sealant or wax you currently use will be fine. if it gets scratches then you can address it like you would any plastic scratch: based on severity, whether to use various grades of polish or something as simple as the above metioned plexus.

if it's a major brand, like EGR or ventshade, you don't have to worry about much, other than abrading it from improper washing or something or the occasional pits from road debris.

prolly a sealant or AIO product would be best...

thanks, I am glad i asked because the only thing i would have done was an APC wipedown every wash

or plastx would be perfect for that actually... i THINK it provides some kind of protection?!!

That is what I use on mine, Klasse AIO, and it works great. I remove the bug guard every once in a while and reseal the area behind it since I can't while it is on.

Opti-seal

will take you approximately 32 seconds and last for months.:righton:
