Like the title says. I have used Zaino Z-7 and Wolfgangs Auto bathe with good success. What else is everyone using ?
Thanks.:xyxthumbs:

I haven't used any of the "high end" washes - but I have used several of the generally OTC washes.

That said - my favorite right now is Mothers California Gold;
Mothers California Gold Car Wash 64 oz.

I am comparing this currently to Meg's Gold Class and Meg's Deep Crystal. I used Meg's Soft Wash Gel in the past, and it isn't as readily available as the others - although I did like it quite well.

My reasons for liking the Mothers are the amber color really lets you see that you have plenty of soap in your wash, and it is has great "lubricity". That and it is available everywhere locally so you can always get your hands on some.

I know a lot of people love the Optimum No Rinse and DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss. But, those are mainly suited for "no" water washes.

Thank You,
I was thinking OTC products but was a little afraid to try since I have had good luck with some of the high end stuff.

I'm not crazy about OTC car washes.

My favorites currently are:
DP Xtreme Foamula
Dodo Juice Sour Power

I am also recently starting to like Poorboy's Super Slick & Wax.

I have used zaino, meg's, mothers, pinnacle,DP,WG,OP, DP 4 n 1,ONR, and surf city. And a few others I can not remember. Never had any complaints with any of them.

I have tried quite a few and my favorite OTC right now is Meguiar's Gold Class, very slick and sudsy. I have been using rinseless washes for a while now and have basically replaced traditional washes with them (unless I am dealing with a significantly dirty car).

Like others I've tried a lot of different ones but I still like Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds the best. Like the names suggests it feels super slick on your paint.

After using Optimum No Rinse that is all I will use. Before that I was using Duragloss which was a very nice product. Car looked amazing after just the wash.

I've tried more wash soaps than I can remember! For an OTC soap Megs Gold Class is pretty good. As far as "boutique" soaps, I rank Poorboy's SS&S and Optimum Car Wash as 1A and 1B respectively. I think they're both GREAT but if I had to choose just one it would be Poorboy's.

I like Optimum smell a lot but I tried other (1z Perl, Mothers (nice smell too), PB's SSS, DG901 (cherry)). They are all a bit different but cannot really say one really cleans better. If I recall the PB's was the most economical (cost per 3 gallon mixture).

1z Perls is more like an rinseless wash....low suds, crisp shine left behind.

Below are some products and the vote count I saw on a similar thread to this one a month or so ago. I use Ultima Paint Guard Wash but I use their sealant as well. I also have Megs Gold class. I love Optimum products and would bet you can't go wrong with their wash...

Duragloss 901 (15)
Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds (10)
optimum car wash (5)
pinnacle bodywork shampoo (4)
Meguiars Gold Class (3)
Chemical Guys citrus wash and gloss (2)

For Foam Guns
Meguiars Hyperwash (1)
dp extreme (5)
Prima Mystique (1)

Out of the ones I mentioned...

I believe at price per unit:
the Megs Gold Class is the most economical at $0.13 (gallon)
Then duragloss at $0.20 (gallon)
Then PB at $0.31 (gallon)

I believe at price per application: (assuming all of the below were 1 gallon purchases except optimum which is a 32 oz. purchase)
the Megs Gold Class is the most economical at $0.13
Then duragloss at $0.34
Then Optimum at $0.37
Then PB at $0.78

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Glow is my favorite right now. You have to follow the directions on how much to use because it is strong. I use just one capful in my bucket and that is plenty - lots of suds and it cleans better than any wash I've used. I have yet to try it in the foam gun, but I've heard great things.

I also like DP Extreme.

I like to use the DP Xtreme Foam Formula Auto Shampoo with a Foamaster Foam Gun and a Genuine Sheepskin Wash Mitt.
