Detailfest has begun! This year is the first year we are open to the Public on Friday. Those who have come out are able to get Behind-The-Scenes access to Detailfest, Special deals from Vendors, and check-out the filming of Mike Phillips' new show, Competition Ready!

I will be updating this thread periodically throughout the day.

Dad and I stopped for a bit this afternoon and from the time we parked the staff was awesome, from finding out of the food was open to transport dad and I to get something to eat, everyone was so nice, we even met Mr McKee , I'm going to try and get back tomorrow or Sunday, what a great bunch of people on the staff, the country needs more companies with people like this, it's a pleasure doing business with Autogeek .

I wish I could make it out to this one year:doh:

I hope to see more, ALOT MORE, of that 63' split window, my God is that awesome...except for the dash, sorry, I like the stock look there but the rest of the car is AWESOME!

I also like the 73' T/A, the color especially and the modern rallye II wheels, just sheer perfection.

Is there a coral for the people who drive their own pride and joy to the show and clean it up there, seems like something you'd have at a show like this. I mean I understand all the "eye candy" but it would be cool to put a name with a face with people we interact with on a daily basis.

Meatball Time!

From the pics, I would describe Friday as more an open house day with setup still going on. There are a lot of show cars this year and see they are inside.

Thanks for the pics.

day 1 ... amazing to watch an episode being filmed. Weather was great.
