Detail Fest 2018 - dates and location

It is never to early to plan an event like Detail Fest! 2018 will mark our 13th Detail Fest and we are ready to take this to the next level! Thank you all for being patient as we changed a few things and moved this event this year to off site in Palm Beach.

For 2018 will be having Detail Fest on March 17th & 18th at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, located in West Palm Beach, Fl. We will again have 100,000 square feet reserved for vendor area and class rooms for the event. We already have some new celebrities planned for the event as well as some new vendors!

Hours of the show:
Saturday 9am - 4pm
Sunday 10am - 4pm


Please save the date and put in for your vacation time now! We will be working with the Hilton again as our host hotel for the event due to the overwhelming response from everyone that stayed there.

West Palm Airport is only 3.3 miles from the Convention Center, so this would be your best bet for your flights.

Wow, it seems like Detail Fest was only a couple weeks ago. Time sure seems to go faster the older you get :laughing:
 
LOL it does seem like weeks ago

I'll try for this again
but need to go to Cali and SEMA next year too :-S
guess if I fly down it'll be very probable.
 
My wife asked if we were going again so sounds like we will be there in 2018.

Unless something goes wrong, I will be making the journey to Detail Fest from lil ol' New Zealand in 2018, & already have made some very preliminary plans with a couple of AGO brothers to meet in Florida, so c'mon Autogeek family, lets put some faces to the names, see ya'll there . . . apparently I'll be the one with the accent.

Well done mate that is impressive. I text a mate as we both go to a UK equivalent Waxstock each year which Mike attended last year suggesting detailfest for us. Would love to go just need to work on the other halves now...

Yeah Macca666, I remember reading your name in the Waxstock thread, or possibly on Mikes Facebook post. :props:

See you guys at Detail Fest 2018 then! C'mon, just tell the other halves that it'd be wrong if a Kiwi made the 8000+ mile (one way) trip to Detail Fest & you guys didn't.

This is becoming one of my annual must go to shows. See you all in 2018.
 
I just planned a trip for me and my wife to fly to Tampa in March for a week to visit family and friends. Unbeknownst to me at the time I planned our trip that Detail Fest would be the same weekend we will be in Florida. I'm excited now as I'll be driving over to WPB on that Saturday for DF!

I'm looking into flying into San Francisco if you have a spot for a Kiwi to crash on your floor before we (You & I) fly out to Florida for Detail Fest if all pans out. Pretty excited about getting back over the Pacific . . . 8000+ Miles, Detail Fest here we come! :dblthumb2:

Just trying to schedule my travels for the show in March and have a few questions.

-Not clear if I need to "register" for the show just as an observer to walk around, shop the vendors and maybe take some classes. No car to enter in any competitions.
-Is there a show schedule posted somewhere? Vendor exhibition hours, class schedule, etc. Trying to make flight arrangements around this.

I'm just a car detailing hobbyist trying to learn new things and maybe try some new products. Thanks for the help and I'm looking forward to this!
 
Thanks Meghan. One more thing... do you have a class schedule posted yet so we can plan accordingly? I could not find that information anywhere.
