To do a VW Passat with white paint soon, questions

So a friend got a new car and wanted it done. Totally fair, however its white. Not single stage white but clear coated white which would be hard to see the correction work in the sun. Any tips on making in easier for myself?


I also dont know if there is anything I can do since the car soap is white, the car is white and its sometimes hard to see road film and other things to the naked eye.


Any other tips would be helpful here
 
Swirl finder light, but the paint is probably in decent condition, maybe a garage with a work light.
 
If you have flourecent lights in your garage or some portable halogen's they will both show off the defects masked by white. My last crystal white pearl car was a PIA for hiding defects. Looked amazing in the sun but at night, especially when getting gas, the swirls showed up. Quick hit with an AIO like HDSpeed might be all you need. Looking forward to seeing some pics.
 
I told him to get no dealer prep and I do not have lights which sucks bad. Maybe Ill have to get a good led maglight?
