My son just bought a new Chevy truck and on all four of the rims it looks to be like there was a sticker of some sort on the wheels and there is a left over film that we can not get off. We have tried P21S polishing soap and P21 wheel cleaner. Could anyone tell me what could get it to come off? Thanks

Maybe try some WD-40 and let it dwell? Then rewash.

Try a non abrasive polish something light that won't scour the wheel.

If they are clear coated correct like paint.

PS21 is for bare aluminum I beleive.

All the polished gm wheels I've had were clear coated.

I'd be interested to see what worked best. Some adhesives have terrible effects in paint ( in this case it sounds like clear coat). If any of the above suggestions work you may be removing some clear coat with it. You may need to re shoot that spot with a spray clear coat designed especially for rims. You don't want to leave this exposed to the elements. Especially polished aluminum.
