Hello everyone!
Quick question. Paint correction for fun as a hobby, but I want to know if my process is over kill. This is for severe paint correction. Maybe with a little touch sanding here and there.
1.Heavy cutter/compounding with a Makita rotary closed foam pad
2.Heavy cutter/compounding with a Flex 3041 closed foam pads to remove swirls
3.again with the flex but using 3M swril remover with a medium cut pad
4.back to the Makita to machine polish
5.back to the flex to polish again hitting swirls the rotary might have left.
5. Seal by hand with wolfgang paint sealant.
Please keep in mind after compounding I did complete a alcohol wipe down.
Thank you for the advise... to much? To little? Always looks good, but I'm spending huge chunks of time on single panels.
