Is Sonax wheel cleaner plus/full effect safe on paint?

use it as a pre-wash at least for lower areas around the car?
 
I’d say do at your own risk, but I personally don’t think there is much risk.

They should be safe on painted wheels, and I believe the wheel cleaner versions just have more cleaner/surfactants in them to help with brake dust. This may help with lower panel cleaning.

I’d just work in smaller sections to keep it from drying if you wanted to try it.

I have used Meguiars DUB Wheel Cleaner on paint in the past with no ill effects.
 
I know. Have a 5L can and wondering what else I can do with it...
