With all the talk about CD-2 coming back I went to AutoZone to try to find some, but found the product in the title. I have to say I wasn't expecting much except to degrease the engine, but it truly is a good 2 in 1 product. It successfully removed a lot of stubborn grease and dirt from the engine along with leaving a nice shine in the engine. I think the degreasing agent might be a little on the strong side though as the "Mitsubishi" on the valve cover used to be white, but the paint was already coming off and was told it could be removed with finger nail polish anyways. Here is the proof. Sorry about the dark pics. Ill try to get some more tomorrow when its light out.

Gunk engine degreaser is very strong! Be careful, I've seen it do damage to aluminum and chrome.

I figured as much and made sure to wipe off any that got on my intercooler piping and intake heat shield. Still worked great and I'm really happy with the results.

I had to quit using Gunk a couple of years ago. It does the job but was so caustic that I'd start coughing at the first spray.
A good degreaser followed with CD2 is hard to beat.

This stuff wasn't very caustic and had a nice citrus scent like the can said. Like I said I just thought this was a good substitute for CD2 if you can't get it like me.

Whoops, sorry. I see that you are talking about new Gunk. The old Gunk is what I was thinking. Never tried the new one.
