Yesterday I bought one of those DIY windshield crack repair kits and had a little accident were some of the resin got on to the hood of my car. I was doing it in direct sunlight as the kit said to and its 100 degrees where I'm at so the resin dried immediately. I got the actual residue off but it looks like it left stains or marks in the paint. I tried claying, polishing, and wet sanding a small spot to see if it would help but it didn't. It doesn't bother me enough to repaint the hood since it's only a little bit, but it still annoys me that this happened. Any tips on what I should do?
