Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice Wash and Wax Review

This is a review of Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice Wash and Wax. I recently picked this product up on a recent order due to the fact that I was looking for a car wash soap that I could use on quick maintenance washes for my clients where I could leave a bit of protection behind and not have to reach for a spray wax or some other type of LSP.

I have used Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice Wash and Wax on several details and am very impressed with the product. I use about 2-3 ounces via the two bucket method and really like the slickness, cleaning ability, and long lasting suds that this product gives.

1) Suds-Tons and tons of suds that last through the entire wash.
2) Cleaning ability-Excellent
3) Lubricity-Outstanding. The wash media glides over the surface very nicely with this product and I have no worries about surface marring.
4) Gloss-Excellent-Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice Wash and Wax leaves a nice gloss behind with a very slick surface.
5) Rinse-Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice Wash and Wax rinses away very clean with no streaking.

If you are looking for a quick wash and wax soap for use during a maintenance wash or give your car a quick boost in gloss then Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice Wash and Wax is an excellent choice, very easy to use, and somewhat economical.

Does it produce any beading on its own?

I week or two worth of beading and or real protection would make this a great product as someone could merely use this for everything in one for exterior

Hey Eldo...It's kinda hard for me to test since the only way to effectively see that would be to completely strip your LSP. You could then use BF wash and wax and see if you get beading.

I can see this being a valid option to skip a drying aid. Wash/Dry/Done.

I'm a fan of the level of gloss this left behind. Smells nice too. Similiar to CG Honeydew Snow Foam. 2-3oz is a bit heavy for my liking and a bit wasteful IMO. They suggest 1-2oz per 5 gallons. I use 1oz soap in about 3-4 gallons of water and have been happy with the lubricity and cleaning ability at that dilution.
