I'm looking for a replacement drying aid, QD for my me coating. I was using the mix of reload and ehc2o, but looking to try something new. Maybe something with more sio2 or just better, if possible...

Although I haven’t tried I hear McKee’s 37 10 minute paint sealant works great as a drying aid.

I've used both Wolfgang Uber RW in quick detailer strength as well as kenotek and been happy with the results of both. Occasionally I will also use the Hydroblue SiO2 sealant.

While no where near as economical as Ech2O, you could try McKee's 37 High Gloss Detail Spray. The main selling point when it was first release was as a drying aid and QD for the M37 Paint Coating.

I used it and liked it on our M37 coated vehicles, but now prefer to use Ech2O.

McKee's 37 10 minute paint sealant does wonders on top of their coating. Makes the paint smooth rather than the grabby feel of the coating.

Killer combo.

Mate once you start adding more sio2 and other protectants, it’s not really a drying aid or QD. You’re just sealing the car while it’s wet.

Add straight reload or any other similar coating if you want to go down that track. Or better yet go for Gyeon Wet Coat.

You could add Gyeon Cure or IGL Premier to ECH2O. Cure is thicker than most SiO2 sprays and needs to be diluted (imho). IGL Premier is a “different” type of SIO2 spray that seems to be stronger than Reload. I’ve never been a fan of Reload due to streaking and formula changes that make it unreliable again that is my opinion. I’m currently mixing a SiO2 spray not sold by PBMG with ECH2O and am very happy using it as a drying aid. You could also get CGs dedicated Drying aid (the name escapes me right now) and mix it with an SiO2 spray. Don’t feel you have to use ECH2O as a base as you can use most of the SiO2 sprays solo as a drying aid. I would skip Cure due to its thick formula but you could cut it 1:1 with distilled water to make it perform better. Or you could go with Opti-Seal which works very well as a drying aid. There are many products to choose from. I forgot, one of my favorites is 40% Sonax BSD plus 40% CG V07 Plus 20 % SiO2 spray makes a great QD or drying aid.

Agree with this statement, it's more adding a topper sealant that can act as a drying aid.
