The windows on my car kinda bug me sometimes.. For 1 my windshield has the softest glass I’ve ever seen in my life. I removed the wiper trails only to see them quickly return, because apparently I can’t use my squeegee or the wipers without instilling fine scratches on that glass. It sucks.

On top of that I notice that the rest of the glass tends to get dusty pretty quik. I know how to get it perfect, but the next day it’s all dusty and with the tinted windows it stands out even more.

Does anyone have any tips or product recommendations to help with keeping exterior glass cleaner? Or is wiping it daily the only way?

I cleaned my windows 5hrs. ago... Look at them now.

Pollen season makes us really go wacko. I don’t even let my cars out of the garage unless I have to this time of year. Can’t sit in the sun and admire them at the moment.

Eldo - What (liquid) are you using to wipe them down?

Can't remember the thread recently, but I added there that I quit using Wolfgang Uber Rinseless for window touch ups because it seemed like dirt/dust stuck more readily after using it. Maybe change up to something else?

Huge bummer about the windshield being that soft!

”The California PopTop”

IMO:
It will definitely help with keeping
all of the exterior glass cleaner.

Bob

That looks silly.

I’m using D120 too but it’s not getting rid of haze so eventually I’m going to switch to Nextzett

FWIW, my go to exterior glass cleaner is the Griot's Rinseless Wash and Wax. Even in cold weather, easy to apply without ending up with streaks, and has good water/dirt behavior. Hasn't messed with my wipers cleaning at all. Not super resilient if you use your wipers on it (you can tell the protection goes away), but if you're just driving in rain you probably won't need them.

Is there better stuff? Oh I'm sure! This is just one of the things I've got at the ready, and it's so easy I've been too lazy to chase other options.

Gyeon Q2 View. It's a ceramic coat and it's hydrophobic like hell, and dust, pollen etc comes off easily
