I love my Wolfgang WGDPS and have been experimenting with toppers such as the spritz sealant or McKees Extender Spray Wax applied 1-2 month to keep things protected and shiny.

am intrigued with the new ceramic sprays like McGuire’s ceramic and britemax Remax Si02 sprays.....can these be used over the WGDPS or are they intended to only be used over ceramic coatings? Didn’t know if there were issues of compatibility or if these ceramic sprays offered benefits over the synthetic polymer sprays on a synthetic wax LSP.

Thanks for the help.

I think that ceramics bond best to clean paint. Mothers suggested that I not use an AIO, but rather a dedicated polish because the sealant component limits the ceramics (CMX) ability to adhere. BTW, I use an IPA 12% wipe down to remove any oils left behind from the polish.

•IMO:
1.) The biggest majority of today’s current
“SiO2-infused” spray products are Sealants.
2.) Sealants can be topped with Sealants, if
so desired.
3.) The compatibility of WDGPS, with any of
the current SiO2 spray products, can be duly
assessed by performing the proverbial ”Test
Spot”
upon your choice of the vehicle’s panels.
