What do you think of this guy's method?

I have cleaned engine bays with a garden hose, without a garden hose, with a spray bottle, with a brush and rags. I have achieved some good results. However that airless paint sprayer looks like a great tool. Harbor Freight does sell some cool stuff.

Brilliant! Scott has done this for a long time and his tips are excellent.

I like it. I have learned a lot by watching his videos however I have not seen this one. I think I would still cover the alternator though.

Does anyone think the force is too much and likely to push water into areas it shouldn't go compared to say the shower setting on a hose?

I have one. The pressure isn't much at all. Strong mist :) I have only painted with mine and cleaned it out with water. I have sprayed my hands with water from it. No issues with too much pressure at all

Awesome thank you.

If you have a good air compressor with a lot of cfm. The Tornador Black could be worth to check out. Water almost evaporates when you use this and have many more uses and can also be used with cleaners in the bottle. Switch off the water mixed in and you drying too. Just another option to consider LOL.

Something Mike Phillips gave a tips about which I will be doing to not get the chemicals to dry on you and a longer dwell time. Is to use a pump foamer spray bottle and foam on the engine cleaner of choice.
