I’m out of iron decon products and plan to seal my car tomorrow. Tonight I noticed several specs of rust (rail dust type specs). Last time I used the Dub wheel cleaner on my wheels I noticed it color-changed. I assume this is reducing the iron on the dirty wheels?

If that’s the case, can I spot shoot the rust spots on the car with the Dub wheel cleaner? In other words, is the Dub clear coat safe?

I wouldn’t be covering the whole vehicle like I would with ironX or McKee’s iron remover. Just spot shooting several small spots.

Yes the DUB wheel cleaner is safe to use on paint.

Yes DUB Wheel Cleaner is completely safe to use on paint. I’ve used it for iron decon over the entire vehicle countless times. Works great.

I just used it last weekend as chemical decon on my own car, no issues but kfocarse just make sure the paint is cool and out of direct sunlight. I used mine on a car that was dirty too, I remember a post Mike Phillips made about doing just that and it stuck with me. Basically he said the dirt holds the product and helps it break things down[emoji362][emoji6]

Good luck to you out there!
