It seems that I never get bumpers polished to the level of body panels. I know that part of it is my fear of damaging the paint. Any tips? The scuff marks on rear bumpers where things have been dragged into the trunk are the worst, Thanks

The paint on plastic bumpers are super thin and soft. They use a flexing agent in the paint which makes it very soft and easy to burn through.
Tread lightly when polishing plastic bumpers.
