So going to polish out Moms 15 Rav4. How do you prep trim for coating?

I’m thinking Wash, clay, prep wipe, coat?

I’ve read iron removers could discolor?

What about Tar X?

Also it’s a metallic red (don’t know name). Any ideas on hardness of paint?

All advice appreciated.

Can't help you out on the hardness of the paint, but yep, that's how you can prep the trim prior to coating. Wash, clean w/apc or something similar to deep clean it, prep wipe it down to remove anything that could negatively effect the coating from adhering and coat away!
