What can I use to protect my new headlights?

Hello,
I just got new headlights for my Mazda 3 (2016 165hp).
The old headlights were a bit cloudy, and I would like to know how to keep the new headlights clear.
I live in a pretty hot country. There are almost no days without sun here.

I was thinking of applying Sonax PNS on the headlights. Is this a good idea?

I'd check out the headlight coating from Griot's.

This is an aerosol spray-on coating. You'll need to tape-off all the paint and body panels around the headlights to avoid overspray onto these areas.

DON'T do it like the Autogeek store shows - there's ZERO taping off or covering up of the hood or front bumper etc. Looks good in pictures and works for marketing but I guarantee you - you'll have overspray all over your nearby surfaces.

We used this on a co-worker's car's headlights, it's been a year I think and it still looks good. I'll check into it.


Besides that - there are scads of headlight products on the market now days. This one from Griot's simply lays down a real LAYER of something else via an aerosol delivery system.

I have used either Collinite 845 or 476s on my headlamp lenses for as long as I have owned my truck. (9 years. Bought truck brand new).

And they still look like they did the day I took delivery.
