Gyeon Q2 Trim on older car

Is there any issue to putting Gyeon Q2 Trim on my ‘08 MINI convertible? It’s in pretty good nick but it is a 13 year old vehicle. Also got some Gyeon Rim. It’s got the original Night Spoke matte black and smooth metal wheels. They’re original and I’d like to keep them in as good as shape as possible.

Nope. Just prep with a good wipe down and go. I like Q2 Trim. Have been moving to Dlux though as it's easier to use overall. Not nearly as grippy and with textured plastics it doesn't need wiped. Goes on more evenly.
 
My procedure was to wipe it down with OPT power clean 3:1, flood it with Griot’s panel wipe, then wipe it down with a towel dampened with the same panel wipe. I had washed it last Friday. After going around all that, I went around and applied it. Used a q-tip to get it in the little trim pieces on the rear bumper.
