have you tried amonnia? when i took tint off windows i just sprayed the amonnia and started to scrap. it was like running a hot chain saw thru melted butter

i was thinking that but i remember buffing a door that i took pinstripping off of to get rid of the "ghost lines" and when i hit the left over glue it just spread it to other parts of the door. but others have had very good luck using a compound

look for 3M Wax and Adhesive Remover ...usually sold at Pepboys and local hardware stores.

If you heat the area with a hair dryer or heat gun then try the 3M or Goo Gone it will go much faster.
