Hi there,
My father had an old Ryobi Rotary in his garage from a prior business and I was wondering if I should keep it and attempt to learn on a rotary with this or just chuck it and learn on something else? The problem is that it isn't a variable speed. It has Hi-Low speeds, high being 3400 RPM and low being 1900 RPM. Will that be too fast?? It seems like most are using 1000-1500 RPM as max speed from what I have been reading the last couple of days. I was considering getting some EDGE 2000 pads with it to give it a try with Menzerna polishes. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dennis
