Have maybe a third of a bottle of CQuartz UK 3.0 left over after doing two coats to my Maverick. Trying to decide what to do with it. Option 1 = apply it to my garage queen MINI cabriole (R52) that I currently use my Opt stuff on. Option 2 = have I friend with a Jeep Patriot that I was going to put CanCoat Evo on that I could use the UK on as far as it goes*. Option 3: would be whatever y’all think of that I haven’t.

* starting on front and going on to lower panels and then on from there as far as it would go. I’d finish up any leftover areas with the CanCoat.

It will keep. Just keep it sealed up lid wise and where it won't get too hot or too cold. Just top off panels over time. Otherwise the options you noted will work too.

Coat the face of the wheels if you have not already done so with it. You can even use it to coat the side and rear glass with it.

I have a bottle of DLux for the wheels. It would be better, yes? I have Gtechniq G1 on the windshield and side windows. I did already use the UK on the rear window. The only thing I haven’t coated yet is the sunroof glass.

Oh, and after a recent discussion, I haven’t treated the plastic trim pieces yet either.

Eldorado, is there a reason for us8mg it in the house rather than one of the two options I though about?

-You already have Opti Coat on the Mini.
-You’re going to use Cancoat on the Jeep. Why make it a neopolitan?
-If you have a wife/gf it’ll make her happy to see you spending some of your detailing time on something that’ll benefit her too, resulting in better dinners or additional perks in the bedroom, or whatever you’d like her to do. Lol.

One note: I have Optiseal not the coating on the MINI.

Coat your snow blower augers with it........... :)

Shut up, sun boy........

:laughing::laughing:

Hey it’s raining out here right now. If it was just a couple degrees colder it’d be snowing and I’d be outside wearing a wifebeater with my shovel.lol.

Yup, leftover uk:
Shower doors
MC helmets
Anything with gel coat
Interior gloss wood car trim
Wheels

Don’t get rid of it right away, if you end up finding a high spot a couple of weeks later that require redoing a panel, you’ll need the leftover coating.

After some time and certainty that you don’t need it on the same car you used that for, then the suggestions above are good. Can also coat a toolbox or even patio stuff.

Applied it to the inside if our glass shower door. Had enough leftover for the sunroof on the Mav that I had never put anything on. Still have enough for probably one panel if I need to before it turns hard.
