which product combination should i use by using Porter Cable 7424?
1. Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover + Advanced Finishing Polish + Pinnacle Liquid Souveran™ Wax
2. Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover + Final Finishing Glaze + Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
3. Menzerna Intensive Polish + Final Polish + Menzerna Finishing Glaze + some wax/sealant
4. Meguiars/XMT/Poorboy/Optimum/other brand?

mainly to remove swirl, bird dropping, severe paint defect on Audi A4 '98 that never been waxed / polished since 10 years ago.

Thanks
Jeff, Indonesia

I just polished my 2008 Infiniti G35X in platinum graphite. The swirls were not bad. I used the Wolfgang TSR w/ LC white pad. Then used menzerna 85RD w/LC blue pad to finish. I must say it looks great.

hm.. it's very bad, the colour of the car is very far from the original colour. my car is dark blue colour. swirl is very noticeable with many waterspot.

If it is very bad, you might want to step up to the menzerna SIP w/LC orange pad(or other equal brand). If you use a finishing polish, a glaze is not necessary. With the SIP and orange pad, you will need a product like the menzerna 106FA to finish. The SIP and orange pad will leave some marring, but will get out those bad swirls.

As for sealant and wax. Usually people on here will use a sealant, then top it with a carnuba paste. If you do that, let the sealant cure for at least 12 hours(24 if possible), before applying the paste wax. The souveran liquid is a good durable product, if you wanted a one step wax application.

I have not used Wolfgang but have read some good reviews. If I were to choose from the 3 you mention I would buy Menz SIP and 106ff

I'm still learning, but from my experience I have tryed both Wolfgang trio and Menzerna polishes. As far as paint correction I would go with the Menzerna SIP with and orange pad, Menz 106ff with the white pad and seal with Wolfgang 3.0 sealant and just for that added durability apply souvern after 24 hours. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Menzerna is the shizznit.

IMO Also if you have the funds go with the flex vrg for a starter machine. The PC will leave you begging for more power.

so it means that menzerna is the best for removing swirl & paint defect?
is it safe for japanese car paint (my other car)? cause i see that Super Intensive Polish is for ceramics clear coat (for many new european cars).

and what this mean "The PC will leave you begging for more power."
is that means that when using PC, i need to redo several times?

The flex is a lot stronger than the PC. But it is also almost 3x the money. Yes, it will take longer with the PC, compared to the flex.

A PC and 4" pads work fine for me. If you know the clear coat is soft then I would stick with Menz IP and 87MC, or Prima Swirl (start with a white LC pad if needed step up to orange then finish off with white).

and another question:
intensive polish vs Advanced Swirl Remover vs Total Swirl Remover.
Which one is the least abrasive? which one have less dust? which one will you guys choose?

Menzerna or Wolfgang 3.0 polishes ... very happy with both. Einszett Professional Line (black bottles) in a pinch.

Intensive polish dusts a ton. I would go for the Wolfgang TSR. Then move to the 106FA or 85RD. The TSR is equal to the IP.

The TSR is a low dust polish I think it is a nano polish like the 106FA, but with more cut. TSR has a little more cut than the ASR. Though I have never used the ASR, that is what I was told. The TSR is a little more money. But the low dust is well worth it. If you ever used the IP, you know what I mean.

so ASR have more power to remove swirl mark then?
can ASR/TSR remove moderate swirl mark using PC ?

Im wondering if TSR is the same cut as Power Finish by Mernzerna.
and which one dusts less
