I two spare headlight assemblies that Im going to be using for a bi-xenon retrofit. The only thing is that the glass lenses are pitted. Nothing ridiculous, I just want to get them as close to perfect as possible before I throw 500 bucks at them.

Ive already used my PC and the CCS glass polishing kit which brought back alot of the gloss but doesnt really touch the pits. Ive hit it 5-6 times and I was getting very aggressive.

Should I wetsand and polish again? Any products that you would recommend in terms of polish?

Thanks for the advice!

Google Cerium Polishing Powder if you need to abrade glass. I wouldn't do it if it was glass that I had to look through for fear of changing optics/level.

You might have to fill the pits with some sort of clear resin and then polish the resin flush, like a glass repair kit.

Ok, I will try and gently wetsand and polish. I took another look at the pits and they are really just very shallow surface chips, so its not like they are deep pits like I previously thought. Anyways, if that doesnt work I will look into a glass repair kit.

Thanks!
