Had friends over today, kicking back, Coronas, chips etc. Relaxing in the pool in beautiful weather with barely any clouds. Ocean sound (waves lapping) in the background. And it hit me, I'll never leave this place, not even central or northern FL, my azz is staying right down here. How can you not love it? We had a house in Nyack (NY) on the Hudson and one up in Hyannis (MA) on the ocean. I would never move to either of those spots regardless of how nice it is.

Beautiful woman - check
Awsome bars and clubs - check
Exotic cars up the ying yang - check
Surfing, wakeboarding etc - check
Boating - check
Boat Racing - check
Auto Racing - check

I've been all over from the islands to Europe and would never give up South FL's lifestyle.

But no SNOW!! Don't you miss that? :D
My wife's the same way. She loves the warm weather. As for me, my favorite time of year is Fall, Winter, and early Spring. I guess it's the humidity, more than the heat that I can't stand.

Funny thing a lot of the northern states can have worse humidity then us, last time I was in NY it was brutal, hot and muggy as hell.

Ocean sound (waves lapping) in the background. You're right by the sea, that's probably why it's not as humid. But you're right, it gets muggy here in the summer too. This year hasn't been too bad......not too many days with high humidity.

I'll just fly to Colorado and snowboard lol. Man!! You're living the life!!

It was over 90 degree's with high humidity both days in Titusville. I think we skipped fall and hoping for a cooler Fl winter. Other than that, still paradise.

It's supposed to be 38 degrees here in central Florida tomorrow night! It was 90 today! Can't wait for the humidity to go bye-bye.

Surfer you sound like me 5 years ago....see location :D one thing I do miss is having things to do at night. SC is waaaaayyyy behind on the nigh life south fl has, I love Wet Willies but the one here is boring. I miss going to Wet Willies and walkign across the street with a ice cold "Call the Cab" and walking south beach (read:stare at the topless hawt chicks) I heart south beach :( (sometimes ;) )

I love south Florida because Autogeek tests their products in those extreme heat/humidity climates, and products are so great!

But if your into the whole club scene Lauderdale and Miami are just completely insane now. There are some unique ones like Automatic Slimms in Lauderdale that's like a surfer version of Coyote Ugly, Wed's nights they even put a half pipe in the middle of the place and you can skate it if you want. I used to skate back in the day and buddies/ladies almost made me go up one night, but even with some beers in me I had common sense not to. After all those years, plus beer in system, I'd have knocked myself out cold LOL.

Plus A1A, how can you not love a Hooter's overlooking the beach. Or pulling the boat up to Shooters when they would have the Playboy and Wet t-shirt contest;):D

I have to say I lived in the Miami area for 4 years while I was attending the University of Miami. I couldn't wait to move back to MA after that. Sure the weather is nice, the girls are always scantily clad, and the nightlife is great but FL also lacks a lot of things IMO.

I love living in the Boston area and can't ever envision living elsewhere again. I love the tall buildings, the sense of history, the local culture, and the pride the people of this state take in being citizens of it. Sure we have snow & cold but we have an extensive public transportation system. So, I don't have to drive in it. Plus, we have two of the greatest sports franchises in the world right here . . . the New England Patriots winners of 3 of the last 5 Super Bowls and the Boston Red Sox one of the most storied franchises in all of sports. Plus, people around here know how to drive! FL drivers are SO bad and every time I go back there they seem to get worse.
