I need advice on what to use on a spicey red 2006 GTO. It seems as if you breath to hard on this paint it scratches. I have a Dewalt rotary that I used on my wife's 2004 mustang, and it worked real good, and the paint seemed to be a better quality of paint. I did the GTO with the Dewalt, white lake county pad, and XMT 1 and it turned out good.
I have some scratches that are a little deeper than a scuff but I am afraid to use
XMT 2 or 3. You can't feel the scratches with your nail but they are more prominent than a scuff. Any advice would be great!!

Sounds like you're more than capable of removing the scratches with your trusty, dusty rotary buffer...

If you don't want to use the RB then you could always work by hand... Ultimate Compound works really well for removing below surface defects by hand.

Get some of these too... real hand to have around...
