Which one would be better to clean wheel or they would be the same?

It is all dependant on how dirty the wheel is to start and what kind of wheel you are using the product on. Wheel brightener is extremely strong and will basically dissolve brakedust on contact but it is also acidic and can hurt a wheel if you aren't careful with it. APC 4:1 is a good all purpose and can break up a good amount of grime but agitation will be required. Post some pics of the wheels in question and answers will be more complete.

IME BMW and Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep wheels respond best to wheel brightener. Mercedes and other companies that have chrome peeling problems should never see wheel brightener.

As stated previously be careful wiht Wheel Brightener as it will destroy certain finishes. That said Wheel Brightener is much better and a whole loth quicker then APC+ 4:1 for wheels. Use the APC+ on the tires and wheel wells instead while using the WB on the rims itself.

What are you working on?

By this I mean,

  • Chrome wheels?
  • Bare or non-coated aluminum wheels?
  • Factory painted wheels?
  • Anodized Aluminum?
  • Magnesium?

You match your wheel cleaner to either,

  • The material the wheel is made out of
  • The coating on the wheel

If you have bare, non-coated aluminum wheels then you are working on the material aluminum.

If you have painted or anodized aluminum wheels then you're no long working on aluminum you're working on a coating.

Make sense?

  • Chrome is a coating over steel
  • Factory painted wheels would be paint on usually steel wheels

So when it comes to working on wheels the first thing to do is to find out what you're working on? A material or a coating?

Meguiar's Wheel Brightener contains some acid to dissolve brake dust, you don't want to use wheel cleaners that contain acid on,

  • Bare, uncoated aluminum wheels
  • Anodized aluminum wheels
  • Magnesium wheels
You can use a wheel cleaner that uses acid on

  • Chrome wheels
  • Factory painted wheels

Wheel cleaners that contain acid usually do the best job at removing brake dust, acid doesn't however work well to dissolve oily things like Road Grime and built up dirt, that's were some type of detergent soap comes in handy.

So find out what your wheels are either made out of or coated with and then you can pick the best and safest product for cleaning "your" specific make of wheel.
