damaged clearcoat on wheel

So my dad took my summer wheels to his work to remove the tires and tire removal machine chipped of some of the clearcoat along the outside of the rim. I can take picture later, but I just wanted to know what my options are to fix this, so the damage doesn't get worse.
 
Yeah unfortunately you will have to get the rim refinished to fix that.
 
Ideally you'd have the wheel stripped and refinished but if the rest of the wheel is in great shape then I'd personally would try to spot finish it. You really have nothing to lose trying to make a small spot repair.
