So I now have a car with really nice wheels, and I need a wheel brush that can bend and clean behind the spokes and stuff like that. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this one:

This is the Ferret brush from Chemical Guys. Anyone used it? Thoughts?

For the lugnuts I use a Swissvax wheel brush very nice

Yeah, I can't decide between the Daytona brush or this one. If the ferret isn't built as well as the Daytona ones, then I'll go with them. Does anyone have any experience using this specific brush? That will help me decide...

I have used one similar. They bristles aren't as long and are more stiff. I like the daytona because it is very durable, flexible, and has longer bristles making it softer and can cover a wider spoke.

I have both the ferret and the daytona pair. The ferret stays on the shelf unless the wheels are really gnarly, as the bristles/stem are much more rigid and good for aggressive scrubbing of the barrel. The daytona is softer and much more flexible, with bigger bristles and is great for maintained to moderately grimy wheels. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd go Daytona ninety nine times out of a hundred. Just back it with a quality wheel cleaner and you're rockin!!

I use the Daytona on about 12-20 wheels a day. Paired with the proper wheel cleaner, its a wonderful tool.

I use the daytona speed brush with P21 and cannot get my wheels clean at the back. The face of the wheel cleans well becuase I am able to use my wool mit. I think it has more to do with the wheel cleaner. It has no "bite' and it also smells terrible.

i use daytona speed brush and a wheel lugnut brush attached to my cordless drill which i bought on AG

I have the Ferret in two sizes and the Daytona in two sizes also. The Ferret is just too stiff, but good for really caked on brake dust. Though cost is much more, I would go with the Daytona combo from AG.
The Daytona stem is a little better than the EZ brush, but if you keep bending the stem it will break at the handle (weakest point). I bend the mini for spokes and leave the bigger brush straight. No need to bend for each wheel and weaken the stem.

The daytona is amazing! I use it with just shampoo and it does a great job

Here's a combo of stuff I just orderd!

Thanks to you all for your replies...it seems the statement of "you get what you pay for" applies here. I'll go with the Daytona brush instead of the cheaper ferret brush.

Thanks again! I always know I can count on my fellow forum members for help making these decisions. You guys/gals rock!! :righton:

I have BMW BBS style wheels with very tight spaces between the spokes. I own both the Daytona and Daytona mini spoke brushes. The mini works better for these wheels and the Daytona works better from my wife's BMW's newer wheels.

I also really like the SM Arnold professional spoke wheel brush which I finally found after searching for a couple of years without luck. At 3 for $15, a nice 15" tampico brush with a rubber tip that cleans well.
