Happy New Year!!
Saturday I took the day to make an exterior detail on my car. The process went on like this:
- Washing with Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds
- Clayed with 3M Clay Bar
- Polished with Orange LC Pad with Menzerna's IP and Blue LC Pad with PO106FF via Circular Polisher
- Sealed with EX-P Except on Trunk where I tried Klasse SG. I didn't do the whole car as I needed to drive it as soon as I finished and thought EX-P is less finicky than Klasse.
Here are some pictures:
Hood after IP Im the MAN
Hood after PO106FF :awesome:
Right Side ofter PO106FF:
This pictures are after applying EX-P
Today already applyied a 2nd coat of EX-P, and saw what I was told when applied EX-P over Klasse: An amazin shine that I hope to take pictures of when get the car out in the sun.
Now, what somehow disapointed me was #845. I applied it in some spots to see how it turned out and found out that it left a less silky surface than EX-P or Klasse, it went on and off very easy but the paint didn't look different and think that being the surface less slipery it doesn't help too much with dust, so far I'll keep working with EX-P and in a couple of months strip it down to have SG and EX-P on top.
