Any ideas on drying foam pads? Can you put them in the dryer?

Yes, you can put them in the dryer - mine come out fine every time. No fabric softner tho!
Or air dry them. Comes out just fine either way!! You will hear lots of ways of wringing them out here - try and see what works for you.
Use the dryer low tho!!
Lauren:)

Spin them on your PC or rotary, squeeze them in a towel afterwards and they're ready to go.

Easiest way... just don't turn it up past 3 or 4...

Air drying after machine washing. Its fast and its very very cheap :D

Ditto, found it works best for me. I just have to remember to stop packing up my PC before I wash my pads, haha.

is it ok to use the pads if they are damp or with little water in them left from the previous washing? for some reason, i just seem paranoid about reusing them, i feel like I am not getting the same effect as if they were new... its a terrible problem

If it were me????????? a little dampness would not be a problem:)

After I spin them and squeeze them in a towel, I pinch the edge, if I don't see any water coming to the surface they are ready to go. If you got them clean I don't know why they wouldn't be as effective as they were new, provided they have not been torn up.
