I recently detailed this 1999 Dodge Ram pickup. The truck only has a little over 41K on the odometer.

We started with a rinse, then a foam bath with DP's foaming car wash shampoo via pressure washer and foam gun. The car was then washed via the two bucket method using Meg's Gold Class, then clayed using Meguiar's blue detailing clay with a fresh wash solution. I foamed the vehicle once again and rinsed.

After drying, this is what I saw...

I pulled the truck into the garage and taped it up.http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c277/DaGonz/detailing%20pics/DodgeRamdetail007.jpg

I taped off a section of the hood to determine what pad and materials to use...

I decided on the Meg's 105/205 combo with Lake Country cutting and polishing pads via PC

I did an additional step and used 3M's swirl remover for dark cars on a Lake Country polishing pad, then used a Lake Country finishing pad with Meg's #21 Synthetic Sealant as the LSP.

The chrome wheels were polished with Mother's Chrome Polish using my Griots 3" RO and sealed with Meg's #21. Stoners more shine wsas used on the tires, tStoner Trim shine on the bumper pads, plastic tailgate cover and inner wheel wells, with Stoner's IG used on the glass followed by Rain X.

The interior was clean and only required a vacuuming and a light going over with Meg's Interior QD.

Here are the after shots... the sky began to get cloudy, but there was still some sunshine...

I LOVE Dodge Rams. My hubbie has a red one that is in major need of a polishing. it is just so big I can't get up the energy to do it.
