hey guys-

does anyone have any experience with polys (gotpolys.com) clear-tech detailing fluid? i have been looking for product to use between full washings to keep our cars clean after using a cal. duster on a slightly dirty finish

polys web site listed above has videos of high dollar cars ie ferraris etc. being cleaned with no problem. i can find no negative reviews on the web only raves and accolades. you will enjoy reviewing their web site

my greatest fear is to reintroduce micro marring after so many hours of work i have done on my wifes black mb. i would have no problem using the product on a clean finish but that is not what im looking for.

i would really appreciate any feed back you could give me.

tks, budinsc Feed back please

This is a waterless wash like:

DP Waterless Auto Wash Concentrate, concentrated waterless wash, spray car wash concentrate (http://www.autogeek.net/dp-waterless-wash-concentrate.html)
Optimum Opti Clean Concentrate, Opticlean cleaner protectant, Optimum all purpose cleaner protectant (http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti-clean-32.html)
Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate, concentrated waterless auto wash, waterless car wash (http://www.autogeek.net/ultima-waterless-wash-concentrate.html)

I'd use one of them.

tks for your advice. are you comfortable using this type product on a finish that is not totally clean? ie not using a duster beforehand and going directly to spraying and wiping clean? i just dont see how this would not micro marr a clear coat.

tks again, bud

Then don't do it. If you touch your paint you will micro-mar it to some degree, even if you have to look under magnification to see it. A better choice if you're worried would be a waterless wash, but it's not as convenient as the rinseless.

tks again. will follow your good advice. i have about 50 hrs in paint correction on my wifes car so i want to be very careful.
