So what all did you do to it? I'm thinking about doing this to my car over the summer and I'm curious as to how to maintain it

We did a full vehicle wrap using 3m 1080 film. You maintain it by washing it with a wash/wax soap and using a quick detail on it. I like to use the quick detail in the shade after the final rinse and the car is still wet. I find doing it during the drying process eliminates streaking

That car looks awesome. Nice job.

Curious how much does the wrap alone, cost to wrap a whole car?

Thanks guys, a full wrap ranges between $2500-5000. But most cars can be done for between $2500-3200. We use 3m 1080 film which is prett expensive and take us about 20 hours of install time, which does not include vehicle break down and reassembly.

good job with the wrap, not my taste i cannot stand a full matte car, i like shine .i don't know why but matte paint is so boring to me,if i wanted matte i would go with a oxidized single stage car! LOL i still dont understand this matte trend out now, then again im anti-trend's i do as i please and dont let others influence me in decisions. to me matte is the lazy mans car covering, takes no effort to maintain it just wash and done.....i thought about wrapping my car then realized a good paint job would be cheaper./end rant. you do do great work sully i can say that much.

Just saw this today at the coral springs car show. Looked pretty good.

I kinda like the look. So is the wrap clear? Do you need a matte finish on your paint? I'm just wondering how you get to the color you want? Is it a mix of the original paint that your applying it to plus the kind of wrap you use? How is it done?

That's pretty interesting. Never heard of that before. I don't think it's for me, but I like the carbon fiber details.

Looks like you did a really good job though!

:props:

Oh my....it was like love at first sight...I really would love to do that to my car, same color wrap.

Thanks if you were there you also saw our Viper, STi, and Matte Black hummer lol

I saw all of them but unfortunately it had just started to rain and you were trying to close all the windows and sunroofs. I spoke to one of the people there about having seen it on the web and he knew I was talking about the thread on autogeek.net. they were all nice cars you had but the rain kept me from looking closely at the others.

Ya you spoke to Kris. It rained for like 2 minutes and the rest of the day was nice.

Shawn, I have been considering wrapping just the hood on my Porsche. Does the carbon fiber wrap look really artificial or close to the real deal?
