LC pad assortment reccomendations for newbie

Newbie here. For Christmas I bought a GG 6" DA and a Meguiar's DA MF Kit. I plan to do most of my correction with the kit. But I also have a full assortment of Meguiar's OTC Ultimate and Gold Class products. So when I start in the Spring I want to have what I need as far as a good basic assortment. LC 5.5" flat pads were reccomended. What should I order as far as various colors? Thanks, Spiney
 
U gonna use those 5.5 pads on ur 6"?
Anyway, i would go with one yellow, two oranges, one white and one black pads. Just my 2 cents.
 
The basic pads would be LC Orange, LC White, and LC Black for polishing and either LC Red/Blue if you want to apply waxes and sealants with the machine. If you think you need yellow, it is better to get a more aggressive polish.

I would recommend minimum 3 pads per color. A clean pad works better than trying to squeak by with 2 pads and always trying to clean it as you go.
