Well this is the paint I started with. Yes, it has been washed.

I am just stunned. I was convinced that I would need a repaint. WO-HOO

Nuke, I actually used Xmt #3 and then #1

White, I know, I cried all the time when I saw it in the parking lot.

It is actually an 88, but good guess white

Thanks guys! I am totally excited as this was my first true detail on my car.

We want more pics. Wow what a difference. Isn't that a cool feeling to take a POS and make it look like a mirror?
Nice job.:applause:

THAT must have been a fun job to do.

Thats why pictures says more than a 1000 words.

Wow Lone_Star! Man, when I seen that first pic, I was like 1-800-new-paint! Awesome turnaround on the top!:applause:

Awsome job!!! Looks Great! After that first pic, I didn't think the second was possible. Wow! :applause:

Wow...you should have put a warning on that first picture...man that's scary!!

Great turn around....well done buddy

Thank You for all the kind remarks. Hey Al, easy with the POS remarks, this is my first car and my baby. :p I know that first picture is very scary.

I will get some more pics soon, I did the hood and rear deck but only have pics of the hood, ran out of time. The top took soo much time. The rest of the car was not as bad, it was just the top. It has been sitting outside in the Texas sun for about 8 years, without anything helping take care of the paint. I cannot believe the difference, XMT saved the day!

Great job! On a clear coat paint that would have required a re-paint, but luckily that was single stage.
