Hello fellow detailers. I see that Pinnacle advertises their ultra poly clay as a super fine grit clay that can be used between details without removing wax or LSP products.

What is your experience with Ultra Poly Clay? Can it really be used without stripping wax or LSP's?

I love megs clay - but I only pull that out when I'm going full detail and expect to strip the LSP. It would be great to have a fine clay that I can use occasionally between details.

Thoughts?

Like Mike once said, "If its not adding protection, it must be taking away". That is not word for word, but you get it. I like the poly clay, but I'm sure it leaves holes in your LSP.

Hmmm... that kinda matches what I expected, but not what I hoped, ha-ha. Thanks.

I really like this clay.

It is the gentlest clay I have ever used. It doesn't appear to marr the paint at all. The Clay Magic Blue does marr slightly, and the Red Clay Magic really does marr quite a bit. But I only use it when a car is really cruddy. generally with little sap droplets.

I can get away using the Pinnacle when I am not planning on doing any correction at all.
