Hi AG forum!
I need some advice on if I can accomplish what I need to, with the products I have.
I finally got some pads for my GG6. I got 2 6.5" LC Flat Orange Pads, & did Buy One Get One Free for 1 LC Blue and 1 LC Gray that my dog already ate. So I'm basically down to 2 6.5 Orange and 1 Blue, and hope to get a couple White polishing pads in the next couple of weeks. I have a small bottle of ScratchX 2.0, a big jug of CarBrite Crystal Shine polish(was given to me), Griot's One Step Sealant, a couple of very small sample bottles of some Wizards stuff-(a Turbo Cut, Finish Cut, and a Polish) and some various waxes-both liquid and paste (meg's, natty's red).
I have a red Olds Alero that has swirls in the paint all over. It had holograms when I got it too, but I hand polished them out for the most part. The swirls are pretty fine and not too deep that I can tell, but they really bother me and take from the shine it could have. There are some scratches in it that I think are too deep to get out, so I'm not too worried about them just yet.
Do you guys think I can do much good on these swirls with the pads and products I have, or do I absolutely need to get the White pads and some m205? From what I've read about the Crystal Shine, it looks like it does more filling than polishing and will wash away in a couple of weeks.
I also want to be able to get holograms and deeper swirls and some scratches out of mostly GM vehicles at the dealership I work at, since I plan to contract with them to do that.
I'm concerned I don't have the right kind of "Start-up" stuff that I need to do what I want to do. Any input is greatly appreciated!!!
