Yes. In my mind I try to keep it as simple as possible. Polishes can abrade trim, and AIO's can abrade and potentially stain (due to the cleaners in them).
It depends on whether or not you want to look at stained trim for as long as you own your car. Taping is a pita. Trying to get stained trim back is worse.
