After a three day trip and some terrible rain and dusty road conditions on my fly fishing trip the SUV (2012 Volvo XC60 R-Design, Ice White Pearl) needed a good detailing.
Woke up at 5:30AM and was at it by 7AM. Finished by 7PM with a lunch break and dinner break.
Interior first: The usual - Vac, Mytee Lite II in the cargo area and driver side floor, Megs leather cleaner/conditioner on seats, Megs APC+ 10:1, Ultima Interior Guard all around, windows cleaned.
Engine: Rinse (low pressure), Meg APC+ 4:1 and Daytona brushes, Rinse, Master Blaster, PERL
Wheels: CG Diablo, Daytona brushes, SwissVax detail brush
Exterior Paint: Rinse, Foam Cannon CG Red, Wash CG Red two buckets with CarPro wool mitt, rinse, clay Pinnacle fine poly with ONR dilution clay lube, rinse, Master Blaster and AG waffle weave towels.
DuraGloss 105/601 4:1 with Flex gray pads 5.5 inches, hand pad in small areas, Colly 845 as LSP.
Dressed wheels and exterior plastics: Opti-Bond (tires) Rims got 845 to seal, PERL on black plastic trim and door rubber.
My camera got wet on the trip and is acting up. It did allow me to take a few shots, but would not save all of them to the card. Hmmm. Light was fading at 7PM for the outdoor shots.
