Greetings and salutations from northern Nevada...
First and foremost, THANK YOU to everyone for making this place possible. Up until a few weeks ago I had no idea that a forum dedicated to detailing even existed and that it would be chock full of such great information from so many helpful enthusuasts!
I recently had the good fortune to purchase a 2001 GMC Yukon XL with under 31,000 miles (that's not a typo). It's truly in excellent condition and I want to maintain it in that manner. With that said, it DOES get dirty; I spend a fair amount of time on dirt roads pursuing trout (hence my username). I don't expect show quality but I do want to keep it as clean as is realistically possible for a daily driver that spends time off the pavement.
I'd like to go with a two-bucket inseless solution primarily for three reasons:
Thank you!
Ken

I'd like to go with a two-bucket inseless solution primarily for three reasons:
- We're on a community well and I want to be respectful of water usage.
- Going rinseless would allow for the occasional winter exterior wash.
- Panel-by panel washing/drying seems to make sense for a full-size SUV.
- One (1) Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine 32 oz. New & Improved.
- Two (2) Professional Grit Guard.
- Two (2) Meguiars X3002 Microfiber Wash Mitt.
- Two (2) Guzzler Waffle Weave by Cobra 16 x 24.
- One (1) BLACKFIRE All-In-One All Purpose Cleaner for tires/wheels.
- Will two 16x24 Guzzlers be enough to adequately dry a full-size SUV?
- Is an APC the best solution for tires/wheels? I don't necessarily need a "dressed" appearance for the tires but I do want them clean and black.
Thank you!
Ken
