I would like help choosing sealant/wax combo for my two cars.

In the perfect world I would like to use the same products on both cars and I would like to spend under $80.00 combined.

My Vehicles
2012 Nissan Armada - Color is Lakeshore Slate
2013 Acura RDX - Color is White Diamond Pearl

Here is a list of products that I have been looking at.
- Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845
- Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
- Poorboys World Natty’s Paste Wax – Red
- Detailer's Max Wax Carnauba Wax

I am open to all suggestions.
ThanksFeed back please

Blackfire Fire over Ice Combo

Once done sit back with glasses on, they'll be blinging!

Naturally I am more inclined to go with Wolfgang, mostly because as a sealant I have never had any negative results with and on a light coloured vehicles.

Also it will last the longest out of all of them (roughly 3 months)

Max wax I am not a particular fan of, I find it does not last too long (about 2-3 weeks)

If you want a good quality wax, for a good price. I would also take a look at Chem Guys Pete's 53

Personally I have had great results with it on my Silver Merc and I did not have to break the bank!

Chris
are these the products that you are talking about?
-BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection
-Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnuba wax

BF Gloss Enhancing Polish, BF All Finish Paint Protection, BF Crystal Seal followed by BF Midnight Sun.

Of your list of LSP, I have used both collinite 845 and WGDGPS on a white 2007 CRV. I prefer the looks of WGDGPS than the 845 although minimal difference in my opinion.

One layer of WGDGPS laster a long time with constant washes and various spray waxes after every wash.

Trying two coats of 845 on the crv currently. So far its holding up really well, but again, I prefer the WGDGPS

Make it easy on yourself...........WGDGPS and a small jar of WG FUSION. :dblthumb2:

Thanks for all of your fast responses.

ssnobrakes - On average how many cars could I expect out of Fuzion

Yes sir, there is also a kit that includes them both, with some towels and applicators too!:dblthumb2: BLACKFIRE Wet-Ice Over Fire Kit, detailing kit, car care kit

Honestly, dont let the price hinder you, a little goes a long way with these products, the selant and wax will last you a long while in those sizes!:props:

From any 3oz sample, depending on cars size, small cars maybe 7-8, large cars 4-5???? Honestly if you apply anything thin, a little goes a long way! Especially with fuzion of blackfire midnight sun, they're like butter.:xyxthumbs:

WGDGPS or Collinite 845
Both provide excellent protection for a lasting period of time.

You can get about 7-9 average size cars out of the small jar of FUSION. A very thin coat is all that is needed and it couldnt be easier to use. A Bottle of WGPGS will last almost forever.

Another great wax to use with WGDGPS is CG's Pete's 53 Carnuba. Its cheaper and you get a larger jar.

+1 for Blackfire "dont turn heads, create whiplash!" . Look at the slogan and they speak the truth. Just dont forget to clay the vehicles first even if thier fairly new. I always seem a decent amount of contaminates on new vehicles.

Coly 845 all the way topped with fuzion or souveran. I have black armada and 300! I have used the combo for a long time and wonderful results. I will also put s100 over coly with wonderful results. Good luck lots of different combos to choose from!

I have just done a few cars with BFWD and I am very impressed and pleased with the outcome.

There are already a lot of different alternatives but a lot of them go over the $80 mark.
I don't know if you prefer the carnauba look or the sealant look, but here are some more alternatives (all bellow $80):
- Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant delivers a deep, wet, liquid shimmer unlike anything you can imagine. alone, 2 coats. Lasts a long time;
- Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant delivers a deep, wet, liquid shimmer unlike anything you can imagine. + Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845, liquid wax, heat-resistant wax, car wax . This one is also purely for durability (I don't like 845 very much in the looks department);
- Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant delivers a deep, wet, liquid shimmer unlike anything you can imagine. + Collinite Marque D’Elegance Carnauba Paste Wax #915, car wax, paste auto wax . 915 is an excellent wax, durable and with a very nice look;
- Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant delivers a deep, wet, liquid shimmer unlike anything you can imagine. + Chemical Guys Pete's 53'-Pearl Signature Paste Wax 8 oz . Also a very nice combo as several members have already posted.
I would suggest Füzion (I am using it right now and I am very impressed), but it goes above your threshold.
