Hello, I am new to this forum and am excited about everything I have read and seen.I am in need of some help and would be very grateful for any and all input. I am looking into purchasing a "Electro-Gen Thermal Fogger" to use for odor removal in cars. I would be using this for mainly cigarette smoke, and mildew smell. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about how effective these foggers are? Would you recommend something else? I am open to all opinions and thank you again for ANY and ALL help!

I've had good luck with lyke enzymes. They kill pretty much any Oder.

Thanks for the info... 4AudiQ I am in Oregon also. Have any of you used a fogger before or are you familiar at all with the system I am talking about? Odor Fogger That is what I am talking about...

It sounds like a high volume tool. A "dry fog" means it permeates the inside of the car; sealing in the Oder rather than removing it. It would do nothing if an animal pee'd on the carpet and it soaked through to the floor board. I wouldn't waste the money.

Drum,

Thanks. I do not deal with "urine" smells much, majority would be smoke and the second would be wet mildew smell... What is your thoughts on a fogger against those smells? Do you have a better idea to eliminate the smell?

I use a tornador filled with water and lyke enzymes, 15 to 1 ratio. I'll clean the whole car using this method After my initial wipe down. Run the vehicle with vents open and shoot it in the vents on the outside of car. For mildew...if I can't get rid of the smell ill rip the carpets up and go from there.
