Shielding on paint!

A friend of my are haveing some trouble with some paints, he gets shield in the paint when finished detailing! (if it`s called shield......, maybe screening?! You know when you get that odd look, some variations in the color.....

Okay, if you know what I mean - HELP!!
He realley doesn`t know what to do and neither do I :(
 
I have never heard that term .... what I suspect (could be wrong however) that you are talking about is metallic paints. When paint is properly cleaned, polished and protected you can sometimes note area's where the metallic paint was heavy or thicker. Not noticable from farther away ... could also be the metallic flakes not mixing completely and hanging together.
 
Okay, top use an other term......
It looks like it`s been used Turtle Wax it Wet on the whole car!
