I have some black painted black wheels with a polished lip.

The spokes of the wheel have lots of scratches possibly from brushes used in the past to clean them and I was wondering what product would be good to remove these? I was looking at something like either XMT 3 or XMT 4, but due to the tight spaces it will most likely have to be polished by hand. Does anyone have any expertise dealing with a similar situation and know how to remedy it?

Question is can you break down the polish using your hand. I would think a product like Megs ScratchX would do better since it was designed for hand use. You are is still doing to hurt like the hell the next day (sore arms). Maybe Mothers Powerball hooked up to an adjustable drill.

Those look like they'll do the job, thanks! If I use the XMT 4 can I go straight to some XMT 360 or should I go to XMT 1 first?

I'd go straight to the 360.....

How deep are the scratches? Got pics? Maybe then we can assess your damage and give a good reccomendation. btw Nice Rims.

use Mothers Powerball Mini with a nice paint polish (SSR 2.5, XMT2, Optimum)

I have tried ScratchX on the scratches and they are unaffected by it. I will try the Mothers PowerBall with some more ScratchX since I can pick one up locally tomorrow and if that doesn't do the trick I guess i'll order some XMT 4 because I have some 360 on the way.

i use the finger pad and xmt 4 to get scratches out
