I hate this dealership sticker on my car and forgot it was there. I want to take it off today. What do I need and whats the best way to remove this intricate lettering?

Heat it up with a blow dryer and slowly peel it off

My process is to heat it up just a bit so the adhesive is a little bit softer. Then spray with bug and tar remover. Then lightly remove the sticker with a plastic razor blade. I can usually get the majority of the adhesive off at this time as well. Any remaining adhesive is easy to get off with bug and tar remover and a soft microfiber towel.

Looks like I got to go to advanced and get some bug and tar remover.

Same process I use. Heat gun, bug & tar remover or tarminator.

Oh yeah, that one is easy. I've even pulled little ones like that off with my fingernails. Might try Goo Gone, and you can also use mineral spirits. Just make sure it's not a REAL razor blade! ;)

:iagree: This process has worked for me on all of my vehicles. I hate those stickers...When I buy new, I always instruct not to have them put on or the deal is off. They're not paying us to advertise!

Mineral spirits always is good to remove excess adhesive

Got it off. It was really easy with the hair dryer. Just warmed it off and the sticker slid right off with me using my finger nail to catch the edge. Only problem I had was actually getting the little stickers of the paint. They would just slide around. I used Meg's APC+ and a cheap microfiber to get the adhesive off. It worked like a charm!

Thanks guys!

Steam? I'm not sure I just bought my steamer and still learning what it can and can't do.

Will a steam cleaner heat it up enough to remove the sticker and adhesive?
