Recieved my Metabo Rotary yesterday and my AG order today.
For my birthday, my girlfriend (Im the MAN) was wonderful enough to buy me the 8" Edge Wave pads along with a 6" wave yellow. (I have the full set of 6" plain, and a 6" orange wave).
She also got me the rotary Edge adapter and a bottle of Optimum Hyper Compund. (I've been wanting to get this but felt like the PC wouldn't be poewrful enough for it. I don't think I'll have that problem anymore!!!)
A BIG thank you goes to Megahn for being grateful enough to send me a can of the New DP's Plex-All. Believe it or not, I had this on my order and took it off at the very last minute. This is one product I really really wanted to get.
I plan on messing around w/ the Metabo a little tomorrow. I have a full detail (Lexus SUV) on Sunday. I'll more than likely crack it out for (at the very least) the flat areas such as the hood, rear trunk, etc. etc.
I plan on using mainly the Optimum line of polishes for this machine since they have long working times. I, of course, have the full line of XMT polishes so I may try them a few times, but I know they have short working times w/ the rotary.
