I have Blackfire WD now and I'm wondering if I should apply one coat, wait 12 hours, apply a 2nd coat, wait 12 hours, apply a coat of wax?

Is the 2nd coat of sealant worth it or should I just go straight to the wax after the first coat cures?

12hrs is a long time to wait. I'd go with 1 layer. IMO, assuming that you dont miss any spots, BFWD can last months.

What wax do you have Saluki .

If you have this one on hand , you can put it over the sealant : BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax, car wax, auto wax (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-midnight-sun-wax.html)

I have some pinnacle liquid sovereign to top it with.

Might give it a try . But a carnauba paste wax would be better .

Might have some chime in here as well .

I created a thread on trying out 2 layers of sealant not yours in particular but WGDGPS:
Tried 2 Layers of WGDGPS 3.0 (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/64560-tried-2-layers-wgdgps-3-0-a.html)

I like the look it gives, but I guess you just have to try it to see if you like it or not.

I also created a thread today topping those 2 layers of WGDGPS with a paste wax WG Fuzion:
The problem I have with WG Fuzion... (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/65302-problem-i-have-wg-fuzion.html)

If you are interested you can check them out and then maybe they can help you make your decision.

Like one said above, I do recommend a paste wax, it gives the paint that warm glow.

Hope those 2 threads help.
